Klick Lewis Arena youth learn to play hockey program is designed around the guidelines of USA Hockey’s ADM model, which creates a fun, relaxed learning environment for participants to learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey. The non-competitive and positive atmosphere not only makes a child’s first experience with hockey positive, but also creates an environment that they can excel. Participants will not only learn the skills and game of ice hockey, but will also develop self-esteem and self-confidence.The program operates under the premise that if a player’s introduction to the sport is positive, they will develop a lifetime love of the game. Our hockey programs are taught by the Arena's hockey staff, who are comprised of USA Hockey certified coaches with an extensive playing background.

About Totsicles

The Totsicles curriculum is designed to introduce our youngest aspiring skaters to the ice rink, our skating staff, and the movement skills they'll need to be safe and successful on the ice.

The first several classes will focus on balance, coordination, and agility activities done off-ice, before transitioning to the ice in later weeks.

Please note:

Each child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in each class.
Helmets are required for all children during on-ice activities. (We recommend helmets for adults, too!)
Please wear or bring sneakers appropriate for active off-ice learning activities and games!

The Little Knights Rookie Program offers FREE GEAR for first time players included with registration. Players should complete Pre-Hockey 1 & 2 in the Learn to Skate program before signing up, or receive instructor permission. The Rookie Program introduces players to shooting, passing, stickhandling and other fundamental skills. Full hockey equipment is required.

The largest co-ed adult learn to play hockey program in the U.S.A. This program is open to adults 18+ who have never played hockey. It will combine on-ice skills sessions with instructional games. During this program, participants will learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey, including how to skate if they’ve never done so before. In addition, they will get a chance to play the greatest game on Earth.
